Stream Pies (6/29/11)

At “Stream Pies,” we are serving up gooey loads of knowledge. Here, we’ll provide invaluable streaming advice on SPs who are owned in less than 30-percent of Yahoo! leagues. We list the options in order of best option to “least-best” option (with the strongest recommendations starting at the top).

Guillermo Moscoso vs. FLA
Since there are only a few games being played Thursday, there was only one SP worthy of a recommend-o. Guillermo Moscoso. A man so wack he doesn’t even have an available pic to use for this post. Yet even scrub-ass dudes find a way to get the job done for a dirt-bag streamer like myself. What I like about Moscoso is that he has a solid fastball-changeup combo and has only produced two poor starts (from a fantasy perspective) this season. He also pounds the strike zone (61.2 F-Strike%). But really, the only reason he’s getting a shout here is because he’s facing the struggling Marlins. I’ve shown an affinity for hitting up the dollar menu off the waiver wire by taking 1-percent owned players before, but picking up Moscoso is admittedly the equivalent of buying food at 7-11. Hey, when you’re desperate, you’ll sink to all sorts of lows to fill a need (pause).
