At “Stream Pies,” we are serving up gooey loads of knowledge. Here, we’ll provide invaluable streaming advice on kickers and DEFs who are owned in less than 30-percent of Yahoo! leagues. We list the options in order of best to “least-best” option (with the strongest recommendations starting at the top). We also include last week’s suggestions and full season results. Points are based on default Yahoo! settings (with 0.5 points-per-reception).

Our kickers and defenses both put in work last week, so there’s no reason for you to stray from Dudley Do Work with the fantasy title within reach. Open wide, because you’re about to take some “Stream Pies” to the grill.

Team Defense (DEF) Recommendations

Week 15 Recommendations

1 – St. Louis Rams vs. MIN

The Rams D has been on a roll. While they’ve been very good against the run this season, I’m not expecting them to shut down the white-hot Adrian Peterson. Still, the Rams are showing a knack for getting pressure on opposing QBs and generating turnovers, so they should once again be a quality stream play in Week 15.

2 – Miami Dolphins vs. JAC

Miami has featured a solid defense all year, but the lack of turnovers have prevented them from being a reliable fantasy option. Fortunately, they face the Jaguars this week. Jacksonville is down to their second-string QB and their fourth-string RB. Miami has been one of the better run defenses in football, so the onus will be on Chad Henne to move the chains. Henne has turned the ball over five times in his last three games and his shaky decision-making could lead to a defensive TD.

3 – Tennessee Titans vs. NYJ

OK, so the Titans have been been a pretty atrocious fantasy defensive unit, but they are facing the right opponent for Week 15. Mark Sanchez is a turnover machine and the Jets are so worried about him costing them a game that they only allowed him to throw the ball 19 times in Week 14 (and that was against an underwhelming Jaguars team). Granted, Jacksonville has been pitiful against the run, but now that they can stack the box with the comfort of knowing Sanchez will be a footnote in New York’s offensive game plan, I expect the Titans to (at least) respectably defend the run. Another reason to start the Titans this week is because they have a great return game and New York’s special teams have been giving up big plays all season.
