Kicker Recommendations
When deciding on free agent kickers, you want to look for someone who is on a team that will move the ball, but has issues scoring TDs (i.e.- a team with a good passing game but a poor short-field running attack). A kicker’s skills and weather conditions are other factors to consider.

Team Defense (DEF) Recommendations
The lowly Rams and Dolphins broke our recent streak of terrible luck, but we still have plenty of ground to make up. To help us in our quest, we’re recommending a season-high five defenses. Enjoy.

Week 11 Recommendations
Jacksonville Jaguars at CLE
The Jaguars proved last week against their hated division rival Colts that they can be a productive fantasy DEF when facing a terrible QB. They draw another one in Colt McCoy. Couple that with the fact that Chris Ogbannaya is still the starting RB, and the Jaguars should have little trouble putting up a worthwhile fantasy performance.

St. Louis Rams vs. SEA
The Rams defense has been playing much better over their last three weeks and though the Seahawks will likely shove the streaking Marshawn Lynch down their throats, the normally weak-against-the-run Rams (who are above-average game planners) should be able to keep Beast Mode at bay. St. Louis does a pretty good job of getting pressure on the quarterback, so they should be able to force a couple of turnovers facing the awful Tarvaris Jackson.

Denver Broncos vs. NYJ
The Broncos are a weekly threat to break off a special teams TD and with their defense finally getting healthy, expect them to play a good game against the Jets (whose offense is mediocre at best). Plus, we’ve all seen how scrub teams become supermen in the national spotlight at home.

Arizona Cardinals at SF
Though at first glance it appears as though the Cardinals are no match for the 49ers, keep in mind that they are division rivals and I expect the 49ers to play “down” to their opponent  in what reeks of a trap game. I’m not saying the Cardinals will win, but the 8-1 49ers are due to have a “resting on their laurels” let down and if Arizona keeps this thing close, it’ll be on the strength of their defense and special teams. Plus, keep in mind that they do a pretty good job of getting pressure on the QB and Alex Smith is prone to mistakes, so there’s a perfect storm brewing here to make the Cardinals one of the sneakier defensive stream plays this season.

Miami Dolphins vs. BUF
The Dolphins should win their third straight against a reeling Bills team that is buckling faster than Jerry Sandusky’s pants after someone walks in on him (too soon?). While one would think Fred Jackson should run all over the Dolphins, Miami has actually been very good against the run this year, allowing just two TDS against opposing RBs. While that is a sound reason to pick them in this game, the main reason they are making it into this week’s edition of “Stream Pies” is so that I could use that line about Sandusky.
