This crew is more intimidating than the players on St. Louis

At “Stream Pies,” we are serving up gooey loads of knowledge. Here, we’ll provide invaluable streaming advice on kickers and DEF teams who are owned in less than 30-percent of Yahoo! leagues. We list the options in order of best option to “least-best” option (with the strongest recommendations starting at the top).We also include last week’s suggestions and full season results. Points are based on default Yahoo! settings.

As the fantasy football regular season has come to an end, most fantasy football coverage has quieted. “Stream Pies,” on the other hand, is here to stay. That’s right, we’re carrying your sorry-asses all the way to Week 16, so climb inside ole’ Daddy Starbucks’ creepy minivan, but don’t tailgate. The exhaust fumes billowing out of this championship ride are sure to induce nausea.

Kicker Recommendations
When deciding on free agent kickers, you want to look for someone who is on a team that will move the ball, but has issues scoring TDs (i.e.- a team with a good passing game but a poor short-field running attack). A kicker’s skills and weather conditions are other factors to consider.

Week 14 Recommendations
Seattle Seahawks vs. STL
While the Seahawks have thrown up a couple of defensive stinkers at home, they should feast on the Lambs. Seattle is allowing just 3.65 YPC to opposing RBs this season, meaning the Rams and their atrocious passing game (they have six passing TDs this year… SIX) will have to move the ball for St. Louis to have a chance. Add in the fact that Qwest Field is one of the noisiest stadiums in football, and the Seahawks defense should have a field day in this one.

Arizona Cardinals vs. SF
The last time I recommended the Cardinals against San Francisco, Arizona gave up 23 points and lost easily. Still, they blocked two kicks and had a pick on the road, netting six defensive fantasy points. Why do I think the Cardinals will have a great fantasy day this time around? Well, I calculated a complex series of formulas related to this matchup, divided them by a group of quadrants that measure several levels of defensive efficiency, and came to the conclusion that it’s just a gut feeling.

Jacksonville Jaguars vs. TB
While the playoffs are not in the cards for either pathetic squad, this game should have some fire to it as both cities represent the pinnacle of white trash in this country (and, not surprisingly, both cities come from Florida). The Buccaneers offense hit an all-time low last week against a Panthers team that everyone has been padding their stats against. While the Jaguars won’t blow Tampa Bay out of the water with their offense, their defense should produce fine fantasy numbers against a hopeless Bucs squad.
