This strategy has recently become very popular among the gamblers. It’s all about doubling your betting amount with the geometric progression’s rule.
All the bettors are looking for the highest odds. And there is rarely higher odd in an outcome different from a draw. So, it’s obvious we are going to look for draws. If we take The Premier League, we can see that there is no team to finish without a draw within a season for at least the last 50 years.
The main required qualities are patience and persistence! Wait 5 rounds to pass and pick a team, which still hasn’t finished with a draw. Your first bet shouldn’t be very big. For example, you can place €10 on your first bet. Every time you lose, you should double the amount, because the average odds for a draw are about 2/1. And if you win after your 5th try, your profit should be:
€10 + €20 + €40 + €80 +160 = €310 – the amount you have placed;
€160 X 3 = €480 – you won the fifth bet;
€480 – €310 = €170 – your profit.
When you win such bet, you must stop betting on this team! You can change it, or choose another team from another division. You can even bet on several teams at the same time, but you must be sure you have enough money to bet until the end, because you mustn’t miss a bet! This strategy is very similar to the red-or-black betting on roulette.
Let’s take a look at this example. We have picked the team of Manchester City in the last season after the fifth round. The Citizens have already won the first 5 matches. The sixth is against West Ham United. We decided to place a bet of €10. The final score was 1-2. Then, we doubled the bet. But, we lost again. However, our 5th try was successful (Man United 0-0 Manchester City). So, we did exactly the same as the example. But, meanwhile we used the same strategy for Crystal Palace. The Eagles hadn’t recorded a draw in their first 5 games and we started to bet from the 6th round. They ended with a draw in the 11th round. Which meant we won again.
So, you don’t need to be an expert when relying on such strategy. The only thing you need is money, and patience of course. If you don’t believe me, you can check the stats in The Premier League, for example, and you will see that the strategy is tested and it works!
